Hello! Meet me (insert waving hand emoji) ! I'm Molly. I'm entering my "late" 20's and I guess you could say I'm WAY late to the whole marriage/kids/family party (boyfriend for that matter)..but that's the new thing right? "Your 30's are the new age for settling down." Or is that just what all my married friends and older relatives tell me? Considering I can't even get a text back, I'll believe them. Well now that you know why I have time to blog, I'll go ahead and elaborate.
In my day-to-day life I teach elementary PE, style for Stella & Dot, and as of recently, take A LOT of pictures. Let's be real, I've always taken a lot of pictures, but now I'm getting paid for it. I love a good selfie as much as I love snapping pics of the sky when the sun is going down. I'm a sucker for bold patterns and bright colors - I blame my mom. She's always marched to the beat of her own drum and I thank her for shaping me to be different than others and most importantly, to always be myself. Growing up, she would always try and talk me into LOUD pieces of clothing and funky styles. I even recall her bugging me about a yellow rain jacket she just loved and my 8 year old self finally said "just buy me the damn yellow jacket!" Still a fun joke we've had for years...Almost 20 to be exact. As I approach my 28th year, I'm grateful for happy friends, my tight-knit family, and all the jobs that I GET to do. I thank God for everything. I think I have finally grown into exactly who I am supposed to be and I must say, it's the best feeling ever (so far).
